PFT March 6, 2016. Joseph: Dined with his Brothers. Genesis 43:31-34 and 44:1-16
The history is clear. Joseph shed some tears, washed his face, gathered his emotions and returned. Then he and his brothers sat down to eat but there is more. Though he was within an arm’s length, his brothers did not know him. Likewise, Jesus was among his own countrymen but they knew him not. The apostle John said: “He came unto his own [creation] but his own [people] received him not” (1:11).
