Genesis 41:1-16
Joseph was raised out of a certain life of servitude. He had no ability to deliver himself. He was helpless and hopeless, apart from God’s providential intervention. Likewise, the Lord Jesus Christ was raised out of death. Paul concluded: “And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain” (1 Co 15:14).
